Setting Up a Blog

Blogger is actually a quite simple and fun website to use for a beginning blogger.  I thought that this would actually be more difficult than it was to set up, so I was pretty suprised at how easy it came.  In fact, I spent most of my time trying to get a layout that looked good.  If you spend some time getting to know the site, you can actually find a lot of interesting things to put on your profile.  For example, I put the fish gadget on mine, where the fish follow the pointer of your mouse.  Another bit of advice I would give is to spruce up your blog a bit.  Don't let it be boring.  Nobody will want to read a plain webpage.  If you make it interesting and appealing to look at, you'll probably find that your blog will be more successful.

My Bio

My name is Daniel Collins.  I'm a 21 year old sophomore student attending IUPUI.  I recently changed my major from Radiation Therapy to Elementary Education with a specific interest in Special Education.  I currently work at Weber Grill Restaurant as a server, and I volunteer at Rhoades Elementary School in Indianapolis, IN.

I currently live in Indianapolis, IN and enjoy all the small things in life.  I love being with my friends and family.  I make time to keep an active and healthy lifestyle, and i cannot wait until summer!  I have a passion for music, art, and fashion, along with teaching.  I can't wait for the college chapter of my life to be over, so I can start my next chapter in my career.
